Relaxed CPD sessions introduce new skills in a fun and accessible way, with techniques adapted to particular themes and topics. My work connects drawing with other subjects and promotes it as a tremendously valuable educational and wellbeing skill. Each session is designed to support the specific aims and values of a school, to help integrate drawing into their curriculum.
Building confidence liberates teaching staff from anxieties about being ‘bad’ at drawing, and offers an opportunity to take a more personal, playful approach. Alongside sharing practical skills, I introduce relevant and relatable artists for reference and provide a framework for engaging thoughtfully with their life and work.
